Keeping active is one of the keys to living longer and remaining independent and The Forum offers plenty of opportunities for residents to join the fitness bandwagon. Weekly classes are held in Strength and Conditioning, Sit and Be Fit, and Water Exercise. Personal trainers are available for individual workouts and hiking, jogging and tennis are just a five minute walk away at nearby Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve.
Health and fitness expert Dr. Karl Knopf teaches both the Strength and Conditioning and the Water Exercise classes as part of the Foothill College courses offered at The Forum. Knopfs goal is to provide functional fitness to increase independence and quality of life by developing muscle strength and endurance flexibility.
